Frommer's Florida 2009 (Frommer's Complete) ReviewIt was okay, it really only focused on the larger cities and LOTS on Disney World. I was looking for a nice beach that I could get enough information on I would know if I wanted to research it more. With the internet I can easily find stuff on bigger, more popular areas, and Disney. I didn't feel this book offered me anymore than the I could get online, other than the map that was in the back. I felt it was a waste of my money.
It gave hotels and condos, a few, I can find many more online, felt like only ones that paid them was the ones that made it to book, same for palces to eat. There wasn't much on things to do. I relied on it for everything -- whether to buy the meal plan and at what level, fast pass tips, restaurant suggestions, money-saving tips, age-appropriateness of rides, etc. Before our departure, I sat down with the book and planned our itinerary, which turned out perfectly and saved us from wasting lots of time and money. Upon our return, I e-mailed Ms. Wiley to let her know about our trip and our impressions of rides, our hotel, the shuttle service, etc. She e-mailed back immediately, requesting additional information, which she incorporated into the 2009 edition.
